What You'll Do
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Verkada’s mission, working hand-in-hand with our sales teams to drive growth and success with channel partners. You’ll take charge of identifying major opportunities, setting sales forecasts, and overcoming any challenges that come your way. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll own:
- Empower Our Partners: Educate partner executives, line-of-business owners, and sales teams on Verkada’s innovative products, programs, and campaigns, ensuring they’re equipped to succeed.
- Develop Impactful Marketing Initiatives: Lead customer-facing and internal marketing activities to expand our reach and influence with partners.
- Strategize for Success: Conduct regular and ad-hoc business reviews to align our objectives, measure success, and showcase partner achievements.
- Enhance Our Partner Program: Make insightful recommendations on program tools, incentives, and go-to-market strategies to further strengthen our channel partnerships.
What You Bring
If you’re a driven professional with a background in channel management, here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience & Success: Bachelors degree. 4+ years in channel management with Security and/or IT VAR reseller partners, and a proven track record (President’s Club or similar recognition).
- Creativity Meets Discipline: You’re disciplined in following processes, yet bring a creative touch to build new, scalable approaches.
- Relationship-Building Skills: Comfortable engaging at all levels within partners, from sales teams to the C-suite.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and other business software, with strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Polished Communication: You bring a professional, engaging presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Location & Flexibility: Must live in the Greater Chicago Area and be ready to travel about 50% across state of IL.

Pay Disclosure
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
