Overview

Connectivity is Verkada’s newest product category, and operates like a startup within a startup. We’re looking for a unique individual who can lead both product management and marketing for Connectivity. This is a great opportunity for a product marketer with a CS/engineering degree to broaden their scope and directly shape the product strategy, roadmap, and feature set for a fast-growing portfolio of products. This role is highly cross-functional and will involve working closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Supply Chain organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Envision, build, and launch new Connectivity products in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain
  • Develop the marketing collateral needed to support these launches, and train our Sales team on new products and feature releases
  • Gather customer feedback and dig into customer use cases to prioritize feature development and sharpen messaging
  • Own the overall success of the business (i.e. bookings goal) and lead quarterly business reviews with executive team
  • Partner with the Sales team to close strategic customer accounts
  • Make data-driven decisions to define and optimize product pricing
  • Manage technology partnerships with complementary tech companies

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a similar role at a B2B technology company
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing
  • Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
