Torch is targeting the $100+ billion office-based healthcare supply industry, starting with dental practices. Our innovative e-commerce software platform streamlines healthcare professionals’ procurement process and helps them secure the best prices.

Your Contribution:
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Business Strategy & Operations Lead to help build and execute an exceptional operations foundation. You will manage Torch’s day-to-day operations and strategy in a fast paced environment while leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, and Sales. As a Lead, you will have the potential for rapid growth and leadership opportunities as we scale to thousands of practices across new markets.

What we are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, high growth tech, or other, comparable roles
  • History of experience in applying critical thinking and analytical skills to business and operational problems
  • High attention to detail and ability to not only simplify and improve complex workflows but also scale change across the team
  • Ability to structure and define requirements for ambiguous problems for yourself and more junior team members
  • A “can do” attitude with a focus on customer empathy and service, recognizing that no job is too small to be important for our customers
  • Hands-on collaborator that can lead teams on both short and long-term projects
  • A passion for understanding and solving user problems
  • Deep skills and experience analyzing data to help root-cause problems, make decisions and set goals
  • Passion for healthcare - interest in office-based healthcare (e.g., dental)

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Track record of successfully coaching and developing more junior team members
  • People management experience
  • Basic or advanced SQL skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of high-performing and diverse individual contributors
  • Build a deep understanding of Torch’s operational workflows
  • Manage goals or projects to drive continued improvement for our customers
  • Understand customer needs and prioritize improvements for our customers with partners across operations, product and engineering
  • Lead cross functional working groups for projects

  • The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000
