Are you an accomplished SaaS Account Executive who takes ownership of a sales process aimed at making life better for customers via delivering an ROI? At Themis, we are bringing to life our vision of making Governance accessible and easy for everyone, from BaaS to Fintechs to more! We are modernizing Governance from antiquated workflows typically run on spreadsheets and emails and building beautiful and intuitive software to make it easier for organizations to adhere to governance requirements and regulations.

What you will contribute

As a Sales Account Executive at Themis, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and securing new clients. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and effectively conveying the value proposition of our software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the expansion of our innovative platform in the governance and risk management space.

What we’re looking for

  • Follow and improve our Sales Process; you will bring your ideas to the table.

  • Prospect and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of potential clients with exceptional ability to lead the prospect through the sales process in a consultative manner.

  • Thoroughly understand the needs and pain points of prospective customers, along with the key decision makers and buying process.

  • Engage with decision-makers and stakeholders to articulate the benefits of Themis software solutions.

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations customized to

    the specific requirements of each prospect.

  • Negotiate commercial contract terms and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market developments to effectively position Themis products in the marketplace.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience of full cycle sales experience, preferably in banking, financial services or a highly regulated industry.

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) concepts and processes; this is a critical component to hit the ground running.

  • Prior engagements with Community Banking, Credit Unions or Regional Banks.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization.

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation Ranges are for New York City-based hires only: All salaries are subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes the opportunity to receive and/or earn equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and additional factors for such other locations.
