- Coordinates quality initiatives for the thoracic program at state and national levels, managing data abstraction, entry into the STS database, and outcomes analysis.
- Generates and disseminates outcome reports, ensures data integrity, and collaborates with leadership to improve patient care and meet accreditation standards.
- Provides education to patients, families, and staff, and analyzes readmission trends to develop improvement strategies.
- Maintains and validates data, coordinates updates, and participates in policy development.
- Requires RN license, 2+ years clinical and thoracic experience preferred, strong computer and data management skills, and effective communication skills.
