We are looking for a full-time Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our growing Finance & Accounting Team. Your purpose in this role is to deliver analysis and insights to support decision making across each department of the company. You’ll build and own our budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making at Prenuvo. There is a preference for this candidate to be based in Vancouver to work in a hybrid setting, but remote applicants are welcome too. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Develop real-time views of financial performance and associated variance analysis to compare against plans
- Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management
- Partner with department heads on goal setting, performance measurement, and departmental growth
- Forecast and manage actual financial results to financial covenants set out by stakeholders
- Implement/manage an FP&A platform (experience with Mosaic, Cube, Pigment, Causal, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Planful, Netsuite, etc. a plus)
- Conduct deep dives into various metrics: business metrics, marketing spend efficiency, customer acquisition costs, revenue operations, customer metrics, and financial metrics
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team, synthesizing business performance and communicating risks/opportunities clearly
- Collaborate with revenue operations on data and analytics for dashboard creation, management, and execution
- Champion continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting
What You’ll Bring
- You see the big picture and can bring it all together. This shows up in understanding of how all the departments and initiatives fit together, second order effects of how decisions in one department might impact another, the full customer life cycle, the different stages of company growth and what is needed at each step
- Has market and industry background to be able to share what is being done by other companies at different stages and in various market environments
- You're articulate and crisp in your communication skills (verbal & written)
- You’re a creative problem solver and no roadblock or challenge will get in your way. You work towards finding a solution
- 4 - 6 years of experience in accounting, financial modeling, finance, and/or FP&A
- Experience in forecasting brick and mortar businesses is an asset
- Familiarity with the Netsuite ERP system, cloud-based accounting applications, and bridging the gap between accounting systems and real-time information (e.g., data warehouses, SQL, Python, etc.) is an asset
- Familiarity with the ASC 842 would be a bonus

- The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 - $145,000 in local currency, depending on experience
