The Predibase Sales team is looking for a rockstar Business Development Representative (BDR) to join us as we scale for our next phase of growth. Recently named to CB Insights Top 100 AI Companies, Predibase is a high-growth Generative AI company backed by top-tier investors including Greylock and Felicis, with an established demand gen function delivering healthy weekly inbound. In this foundational role, you will serve as the face of Predibase to our prospective customers working across sales, marketing, and leadership to help drive pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting. This role is perfect for a sales professional early on in their career, looking to help define the BDR function at a high-growth AI startup and develop take their career to the next level.

The impact you will have:

  • Drive Pipeline: partner with our sales team and founders to develop prospecting strategies, build pipeline, and drive product adoption. Responsible for managing high volume of weekly outbound communications to maximize qualified meetings.
  • Own Inbound: follow-up with daily inbound funnel of leads via email, phone calls, and social media to secure demos with qualified prospects.
  • Build Playbooks: help build our BDR function from the ground up by iterating on sales playbooks, outbounding techniques and customer segmentation strategies. Design A/B tests of customer profiles, outreach tactics, and messaging to develop best practices.
  • Team with Marketing: work with marketing to enhance lead generation strategies and test new messaging, bringing innovative ideas and perspectives to top of funnel activities.
  • Lead the Charge: you’ll have the opportunity to spearhead our BDR function as an early employee and help shape our path towards rapid growth.

What we look for:

  • 1+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and a genuine enthusiasm for technology
  • Determination and desire to build the next best enterprise software company
  • Consistent, measurable over-achievement in past experiences
  • A high degree of ownership and grit
  • Curiosity and hunger to learn about the big data/AI industry, big plus if you have previous experience in this industry
  • Experience with Salesforce, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus
