Who You Are
You are an experienced Technical Program Management leader with deep knowledge of enterprise products and startup dynamics. You bring a unique mix of strategic foresight and hands-on expertise, with a history of partnering across cross-functional teams – from product and engineering to GTM – to deliver exceptional results for clients and partners. Your experience gives you both the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and ability to help an organization scale by implementing processes and organizing people. You have the business acumen to align company objectives to project goals; a demeanor that allows you to easily rally and organize teams around a shared effort; and the internal drive to ensure initiatives are done right and on time – no matter what.

Responsibilities

  • Release Management: Own release management processes — coordinating cross-functional readiness, ensuring quality gates are met, and driving alignment across Product, Engineering, QA, and GTM to enable smooth, timely, and high-quality releases.
  • Sprint Planning: Drive quarterly and sprint planning cadences, track cross-functional dependencies, and escalate risks or blockers early to keep teams moving. Lead sprint planning sessions with clear goal-setting, resource alignment, and prioritization to drive focused and effective delivery.
  • Sprint Efficiency & Metrics: Monitor and present sprint efficiency metrics to inform performance reviews, support data-driven feedback, and drive continuous improvement within teams.
  • Workflow & Ticket Management: Ensure all project tickets are well-documented, accurately estimated with story points, and follow defined workflows to support efficient and transparent execution across teams.
  • Product Delivery Tracking & Communication: Ensure transparency and predictability around delivery timelines. Maintain transparent, up-to-date insights into project status and risks, enabling stakeholders to understand progress and any bottlenecks at a glance.
  • OKR Execution: Partner with Product & Engineering leaders to ensure the successful execution of team OKRs by aligning initiatives with organizational priorities and broader business objectives, and helping to break them down into milestones and tasks.
  • Agile Best Practices: Own the Agile process. Ensure it's well documented, understood, and operationalized with measurable constructs (e.g. entry/exit criteria). Coach team members on best practices, remove systemic blockers, and promote psychological safety, self-organization, and team accountability.
  • Process & Governance: Establish and scale program management frameworks, tools, and best practices. Develop consistent processes for tracking execution, measuring impact, and reporting results across teams and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in technical program management, with a balanced background in both enterprise product companies and high-growth startup environments.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels, with a bias for action to deliver results in a matrixed, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC/ICP-ATF), or equivalent. Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sprint planning, dependency management, and outcome-based execution of complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate story point estimations, optimizing workflows, and tracking delivery efficiency across Agile teams – as well as analyzing & presenting sprint metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong track record of managing cross-functional dependencies, ensuring transparency, and enabling effective communication across stakeholders and leadership levels.
  • Technical understanding of software development life cycles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps principles.
  • Highly proficient with project management tools (i.e. Jira, Asana), collaboration platforms (i.e. Slack, Confluence, Notion), Agile methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and reporting/analysis (i.e. Excel, Domo, etc.)
  • MBA from a Tier I or Tier II institution + B.Tech/Engineering degree.
