What We're Looking For
We are on the look out for a Product designer with proven experience in conducting qualitative User Research to drive the creation of key features and user experiences across our product portfolio. You’ll be passionate about clean, sustainable products, and thrive in the early stages of company-building. In this role, you’ll work closely with another designer, product managers, engineers, and other teams to develop seamless, research-driven user experiences. You’ll be hands-on, leading design and research projects from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centered solutions. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance user needs, business goals, and innovative approaches.
In This Role, You Will:
Design & Research Collaboration: Partner with another designer and cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and marketing—to implement design and research strategies that align with company objectives. Ensure that research insights inform the user experience throughout the product development cycle.
User Research: Conduct research to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Use both qualitative and quantitative data to iterate on and improve design decisions.
Hands-on Design: Lead design efforts across key product areas, taking ownership from early research and concept development to final execution and delivery.
User-Centered Approach: Advocate for a user-first mindset by integrating research insights and user feedback into the design process, ensuring intuitive and effective product experiences.
Prototyping & Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct usability testing sessions to validate and refine designs based on user feedback.
Design Quality & Excellence: Maintain high standards for design quality by contributing to best practices for design systems, user testing, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate design and research findings clearly, sharing trade-offs and rationale with various stakeholders across the organization.
About You
4+ years of experience in product design and user research.
Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments, with a portfolio showcasing enterprise workflow, data, and/or AI B2B products.
Strong understanding of design thinking, user-centered design principles, and research methodologies (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing).
Skilled in interaction design, visual design, and UX best practices, with familiarity in tools like Figma, and user research platforms.
Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across departments and building relationships with product managers, engineers, and other teams.
Ability to present research findings and design decisions clearly and effectively.
Experience contributing to design processes, ensuring a smooth workflow from ideation and discovery to delivery.
Analytical mindset with the ability to provide data-driven, practical solutions for complex design challenges.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Low ego, high confidence: Open to learning and finding the best solution collaboratively.
Passion for sustainability and our mission to create trustworthy consumer products.
Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they relate to design is a plus.
Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring equitable user experiences for diverse audiences.
Experience with or contribution to design systems is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in design, research, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
