We offer kids a delightful, engaging way to explore, create, and learn. Our core offering is a subscription service. We design and deliver awesome hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an e-commerce storefront and content platform. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids we serve. Our office is located in Mountain View, within walking distance to the Caltrain station. Currently, we work a hybrid schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday in-office and remote work the rest of the week.
KiwiCo is seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to join our marketing team. In this position, you will own the lifecycle customer communication through email and SMS. You will collaborate with cross-functional team to enhance user experience and grow customer lifetime value through lifecycle communication. The ideal candidate has a strong technical and analytical background, a proven track record of driving results, and a passion for inspiring children's learning experiences.


  • Conceive and execute lifecycle campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth through a mix of email and SMS messages.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, data, and creative teams to optimize customer experience and coordinate on execution.
  • Develop deep understanding of the user journey in order to identify personalized and relevant communication that engages customers; translate insights into effective campaign briefs for cross functional teams.
  • Execution and monitoring triggered programs; including campaign building, QA, reporting, and then iterating as needed.
  • Working closely with analytics team to enhance and maintain CRM database.
  • Develop and manage reporting to monitor performance of CRM tactics; optimize campaigns by continually presenting ideas and opportunities to improve channel performance.
  • Analyze results to gain strategic insights. Communicate findings clearly and concisely to senior Marketing leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with email/SMS marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to make recommendations for improvements


  • Strong technical skills, hands-on experience building and deploying campaigns in Iterable and/or other email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to enhance and debug the ESP platform as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker.
  • 4+ years’ experience in lifecycle marketing, preferably in direct-to-consumer eCommerce with a focus on consumer engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in a subscription-based industry
  • Proficient with SQL and HTML
