We are looking to hire a Junior DevOps Engineer (SRE - Site Reliability Engineer) to join our ever-growing Budapest Engineering Team!

About the role:
- We are a global team that spans North America and locations in the EU; your communication and coordination skills are essential to success
- Collaborate with the peers on your team and with other engineers to help design and implement organization-wide processes and architectural standards for new services
- Observe, learn and participate in team discussions about modern technologies and processes
- Meet as needed with engineering teams to understand their architecture needs
- Participate in a standard on-call rotation to support our common infrastructure and tooling
- Building automated processes where appropriate, prioritizing high-use and high-risk workflows
- Participate in regular planning meetings to share recommendations with the team
About you:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field is a must
- Experience with at least one high-level object-oriented programming language (Python, Node.js are preferred)
- Strong team player mentality and willingness to learn
- Familiar with AWS technologies: Infrastructure & Administration
- Familiarity with support ticket handling
- Desire to learn Infrastructure as Code resources and administration (Terraform, Ansible are preferred)
- General knowledge about pipeline deployment flow from code commit to production (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar), database management tools, query optimizations
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda deployment and implementation (Serverless framework)
- Willingness to troubleshoot and dig into tough problems
