Hearsay Systems is looking for talented BI Analyst Intern to join our amazing Budapest team!
Are you interested in data and analytics? Have solid SQL skills? Want to join a US-based company with great opportunities to grow while supporting the business with product usage reports? Then don’t hesitate to read on and apply!
You’ll mainly be working with BI developers but will also need to occasionally collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to support the team to enhance product usage by improving our analytical capabilities.

If the answer is yes here’s some good news: we’re looking for a data / business intelligence analyst intern to join us working on report and dashboard development. You’ll help the team to create new metrics (using SQL) and transform social media data into a meaningful, visual format for our users. This role is for you if you are interested in digging deeper and understanding our product usage data while also enjoy putting together graphs and charts.

About you:

  • Experience (work or studies) in working with large datasets and performing analytical tasks on them
  • Student status till at least January 2025
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SQL queries
  • Interest in working with web, social media, app-related, and other datasets
  • Any experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc) and/or statistical/reporting packages is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Python for data/statistical analysis is a plus
  • Work at least 24-30 hours/week on average with the flexibility to match your studies
  • Active student status and willingness to work through the school association
