Hearsay Systems is looking for talented Account Executive to join our Sales team.
To further capitalize on the incredible market opportunity and demand for our products, we are growing our sales team. You should have a proven track record of exceeding quota in technology sales to new logos, and be a motivated and tenacious self-starter who is comfortable selling to Marketing, Sales, Compliance, and C-level executives.

About the role:

  • Construct, forecast, and manage your pipeline of sales opportunities across your book of financial services companies
  • Manage complex sales-cycles and develop add-on business with existing accounts
  • Present the vision and value of Hearsay platform and our services to C-level executives
  • Achieve quarterly quota assignments and forecast sales activity accurately
  • Drive revenue by identifying and closing a list of named accounts
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices with regard to new products and services
  • Build coalition and support with customer field leadership.
  • Cultivate relationships across the organization and open communication lines to ensure program success and growth

About you:

  • 5+ years quota achieving sales success, preferably in enterprise software and/or fintech
  • Expertise and desire to focus on new logo opportunities.
  • 3+ years of experience at high growth SaaS company preferred
  • Experience selling to or working in wealth management, insurance, banking, mortgage, and asset management is a strong asset
  • Experience in consultative selling to VPs and above across multiple departments
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of company) and activity targets in past positions
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CMO level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid computer skills including the Google Suite and Salesforce.com
  • Customer-focused mentality and a winning attitude
  • Familiarity with professional uses of social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university
The full-time annual salary ranges for this role at the time of hire are listed below, by location, in accordance with state and local requirements. Within the ranges, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The ranges below do not include commission, equity, or benefits, which will be included in the total package. There will be an opportunity for an accelerator.
California: $125,000 - $150,000
Colorado: $100,000 - $150,000
NYC: $125,000 - $150,000
Washington: $100,000 - $150,000
