We are seeking a highly skilled senior backend engineer who can design, implement, and deploy a cloud solution for a mobile application that provides education, support services, and control of a Bluetooth device that helps to manage pain. The developer will be working with our delivery manager, mobile developer, and technical architect to produce a set of standard application APIs and services and the development, QA, and production environments they will be deployed to.

This project work will last at least 1-5 months with the possibility of an extension or contract to hire.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Azure, .NET Core, and C#
• Experience building and deploying back-end applications to AWS.
• Multiple years of experience building back-end APIs for web and/or mobile applications.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with NIST CyberSecurity Framework and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Experience building software as part of an agile team.
• Creating, committing, and reviewing code.
• Able to troubleshoot technical and operational issues, including debugging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Developed medical device software under design controls within an ISO 13485 Quality Management System in the past and have experience with HIPAA.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and pen testing.
• Experience or familiarity with performance testing (cloud APIs, in-browser/app responsiveness, testing to failure, etc,)
