Gigster is looking for expert Software Project Managers / SCRUM Masters with strong Software Engineering backgrounds to help lead trend-setting product development. They will deliver amazing experiences to customers by leading cutting-edge projects for F500 companies and startups in exciting domains like AI/ML, and Blockchain/NFT. They will work Full time on one project or Part-time on multiple projects and will be responsible for detailed Project plans, Estimations, Sprint plans, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. In addition to that, they will also produce Milestone reports, Metrics reports, Risk mitigation, and Action plans.
Ideal candidates are stellar, proven software project managers with strong technical backgrounds who've built first-rate products and love working with people. You should be excited about juggling multiple projects and helping us optimize the overall product management process.
This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world! Occasionally, you may be asked to travel on-site for client projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage successful planning and execution of customer's projects
- Work with development teams and other stakeholders to guarantee delivery of milestones according to plan (time and scope).
- Understand complex project landscapes and have the ability to generate execution blueprints and identify risks
- Communicate project status and manage highly technical teams working on the development of complex solutions on very recent technologies
- Apply our Gigster Project Management methodology consistently across all projects to produce predictable results.
- 8+ years of experience in a Technical Project Management role across Technology services, Digital media, Web analytics, Marketing optimization or subscription business focused in the data space.
- Experience managing projects using Agile software development (e.g. Scrum and Kanban), and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams. Have the ability to prioritize multiple, high-priority projects in a highly paced environment.
- Utilize strong prioritization and project management skills, including timely and proactive communications of timelines, status, customer concern
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with people and teams around the organization. Ability to convey complex requirements in a clear, concise and credible manner
- Deep analytical abilities, strong out-of-the-box thinking, curious business and technical demeanor, and an ability to drive action
- Leadership skills to influence teams and see projects through to timely completion in an agile environment
- Excellent analytical skills, extraordinary attention to detail and ability to turn hopeless situations into successful delivery.
- Previous experience managing vendors/contractors with previous PMO team management highly preferred.
- Ability to understand and apply Earned Value Management to measure burn rates and forecast future performance of projects.
- SCRUM Master certification - Great to have.
- PMP or PRINCE2 Certification - Good to have
