It’s a complex environment, and our systems are constantly evolving, so we’ll be looking to you to help guide us.

You will:

  • Evaluate and model transportation carrier proposals to drive cost savings, improve delivery speed, and optimize network footprint.
  • Improve cost capture and reconciliation process by performing deep dives into transportation cost drivers, such as shipping surcharges.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the last-mile network to accurately estimate transportation costs for upcoming years, including assumptions for industry trends, annual rate changes, etc., and provide support to the Pricing team by offering insights into carrier costs for domestic and international fulfillment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Develop strong working relationships with your counterparts at external partners, leveraging these to understand and improve rate proposals.
  • Document business processes and create internal documentation (including process flow charts and S&OPs) to streamline operations and establish common terms and definitions.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation analysis or cost management.
  • Strong systems and reporting skills (e.g. exceptional SQL and Excel skills).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is preferred.

  • Ability to adapt in a rapid growth, startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail + appreciation for the complexity associated with the consistent achievement of operational tasks.
  • Personable and collaborative; strong affinity for working cross-functionally.
