We are hiring an experienced and technical Hardware Product Manager to lead high-impact product initiatives. In this role, you will define product direction, craft roadmaps, and drive high-impact initiatives that shape the future of renewable energy. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities through hardware innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into reality, and delivering products that redefine the renewable energy space.
What You'll Do:
- Own and lead new hardware product initiatives, guiding the full product lifecycle with a focus on technical excellence and market viability.
- Develop and execute multi-generational product plans, leveraging customer insights, market research, competitive analysis, and forecasting to define the product's future.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, software, go-to-market, operations and other teams to ensure alignment and seamless product development.
- Provide project leadership and direction in guiding various internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution.
- Lead sprint planning and direct the implementation of critical and complex projects which typically involves and impacts multiple business unit stakeholders.
- Oversee product installs, training, and customer support, ensuring a seamless experience for new customers and ongoing satisfaction.
- Represent and help build your product’s culture. As the liaison to the engineering development organization you are well positioned to consistently interact with all teams and often will be tasked to represent the product in a cross-functional capacity. You should be knowledgeable of not only the current state of the product, but also the various technical and operational factors which define the product architecture and overall vision.
- Create excellent technical documentation - slide decks, testing plans and reports, procedures, assembly, vendor specifications, and statements of work, etc.
- Assist in recruiting and interviewing efforts to help build our amazing team.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant hardware product experience or integrated HW/SW product development.
- Experience building 0-1 products from the ground up within the renewable energy industry, aerospace, or other hard-tech industries.
- Excellent communication skills.
