Job description

Edia is a fast-growing startup founded by top engineers from Facebook, Uber, Google, and Venmo that aims to radically improve K-12 math education. The company recently announced its $9.4M Series A funding. Over the last four years, Edia has built a world-class product for secondary math (6th grade - Calculus BC) and partnered with the largest school districts in the US.

Overview:

We’re hiring for our 5th and 6th Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an enormous impact on our team and trajectory by accelerating the pace of Edia’s adoption and helping to inform thousands of education leaders across the country about our product.

Responsibilities:

- Lead outbound efforts to educational leaders in a large region of the United States

- Make up to 100+ calls per day

- Organize targeted email campaigns

- Respond to inbound requests for information from staff

- Partner with our Sales Team to ensure prompt and smooth handoffs

Requirements:

- Passionate about math education – To succeed in this role, you will need to believe in Edia and what we’re trying to do. Your excitement for our product and mission should be contagious.

- Organized – You will be leading our daily outreach efforts to new school districts. You will need to be organized and efficient to maximize your efforts.

- Curious – You take a genuine interest in people. You listen closely to what they are trying to say, and you ask great questions.

- Energetic – We have a lot of work ahead of us and will need to make progress every day. Your drive will be instrumental in moving things forward.

Requirements:

1.) Minimum 1 year of teaching in the classroom & Prior sales/customer facing experience

OR

2.) Education Degree with a passion for math & +25 hours field experience in the classroom

Compensation: ~$100k / yr ($55k base + commissions)
