POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate Information Security Manager who is excited to lead and drive security outcomes at EarnIn. As an Information Security Manager, you will manage our infrastructure security and incident response teams, focusing on securing our cloud environments and corporate environments. You should have a natural sense of curiosity, a propensity for action, and a collaborative and diplomatic approach to problem-solving.

This position will be hybrid in our Palo Alto HQ with 2 days a week in the office expected. The Palo Alto base salary range for this role is $252,000 - $308,000 plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Effectively grow and develop team members.
  • Review and assess team strategies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Manage a security team focused on infrastructure security, cybersecurity incident response, and security infrastructure technologies.
  • Ensure alignment across teams with Information Security and Product Engineering organizational objectives.
  • Generate and implement process improvements, especially cross-team processes.
  • Responsible for team members’ professional development and their performance management to build a high performing team
  • Assist in building morale, support, and alignment across the team.
  • Work cross-functionally (both within and outside of Security) to promote and gain prioritization of team needs.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of EarnIn and align to organizational requirements.
  • Respond to security incidents and lead incident response efforts.
  • Automate security processes and develop scripts in languages such as Python.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or related equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in the security field with at least 3+ years leading a team.
  • Strong technical credibility with significant experience in multiple domains of security.
  • Relevant, progressive experience in security management, demonstrating management credibility.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and improve the quality of teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands on experience architecting, automating, maintaining, and securing Cloud Computing Platforms
  • Experience with Kubernetes, configuration as code, CrowdStrike, endpoint DLP & zero trust solutions.
  • Ability to successfully manage distributed teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to security.
  • Familiarity with SecDevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or experience with AWS are pluses
