About the team

Dialpad's Total Rewards Analyst will own our compensation programs' design, analysis, and administration to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business goals. In this role, you’ll combine data analysis, compensation & benefits strategy, and collaborative insights to design competitive pay structures, analyze compensation trends, and drive compensation-related decisions that impact the organization's growth.

Dialpad’s Compensation and Reporting team plays an essential role in supporting employee engagement, ensuring fair compensation & benefits practices, and enabling the company to attract and retain top talent. This team collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to constantly improve compensation frameworks and decision-making processes.

Your role

As a Total Rewards Analyst, you’ll own the development and maintenance of Dialpad’s compensation structure. You’ll work closely with the HR team and Finance department to align compensation strategies with business objectives and financial planning. You’ll also help create quarterly reports and dashboards that provide insights on compensation-related analytics. In addition, you’ll help bring analytical rigor to compensation reviews, ensuring the company remains competitive within the industry.

You will also provide competitive and financial analysis.

This position reports to our Senior Manager, Compensation & People Analytics, and has the opportunity to be based in our Vancouver office on a hybrid basis.

What you’ll do

  • Own the development, execution, and analysis of global compensation structures, including salary, bonus, and equity components.
  • Lead the annual compensation cycle utilizing tools such as PAVE. Make recommendations for compensation adjustments based on market trends, internal equity, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Dialpad managers, and Talent Acquisition to benchmark roles. Maintaining an accurate and compliant job architecture that supports career pathing.
  • Research market data and trends to ensure proper benchmarking of our compensation and benefits packages against industry standards and ensure we stay competitive. Ensure survey participation through annual submissions (E.g. Radford / Comptryx).
  • Provide analytic support for benefits design globally, including US, Canada, and other countries.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to increase the effectiveness and competitive positioning of Dialpad's Benefits practices.

Skills you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, data analytics, HRIS, or finance.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting compensation data, with a strong understanding of compensation structures and frameworks.
  • Expertise in Excel, HRIS platforms, data visualization tools, and compensation software systems e.g. Pave, Radford, or similar.
