About the Team

We are seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our Marketing department. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement, loyalty, and advocacy, playing a crucial part in showcasing Dialpad's success stories and industry leadership.

Your Role

As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a robust customer reference program, customer stories program, and leading various customer-centric initiatives to strengthen our market presence. This role reports to our VP of Customer Marketing and is remote.

What You'll Do

  • Customer Reference and Testimonial Management:
    • Establish and manage a dynamic customer reference program, showcasing success stories, ROI customer studies, and compelling testimonials.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of reference customers and success stories, supporting sales, marketing, PR, thought leadership, analyst relations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Customer Advisory and Executive Sponsorship:
    • Collaborate closely with our CEO, VP of Marketing, and VP of Customer Marketing to plan and execute the CAB program, extracting valuable feedback and insights from key customers.
    • Implement an Executive Sponsor program to elevate customer engagement and fortify relationships.
  • Event and Launch Support:
    • Bolster our event strategy with customer speakers, encompassing tradeshows, Dialpad customer conferences, and field events.
    • Enhance product launches with compelling customer testimonials, stories, and active participation in events.
  • Press, Analyst, and Campaign Support:
    • Facilitate press and analyst relations, ensuring accurate and timely information for media inquiries.
    • Drive impactful customer campaigns, reviews, and ratings programs to deepen customer engagement and foster loyalty.
  • Customer Community and Thought Leadership:
    • Establish a vibrant customer community, initiating a referral program, and orchestrating impactful community events and webinars.
    • Cultivate highly-engaged community groups and thought leadership initiatives, fostering connections and empowerment among users, subject matter experts, and masterminds.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Manage a team of two direct reports, providing leadership and guidance in executing customer engagement initiatives.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, ensuring accurate customer records in our advocacy database and aligning efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on customer marketing experience.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the software or B2B technology industry.
  • Proven Success: Proven success in developing and executing customer advocacy programs.
  • Relationship-Building: Strong relationship-building skills and ability to gather feedback effectively.
  • Campaign Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead customer-centric campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding: Understanding of demand generation and growth marketing strategies.
