Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with short- and long-term goals.

• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning, fundraising, and market expansion efforts.

• Provide actionable insights into business performance to guide decision-making and resource allocation.

Financial Operations

• Oversee all aspects of accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GAAP standards, and tax obligations.

• Optimize financial processes, implementing systems and tools to support scalability and efficiency.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to evaluate ROI on investments, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition costs.

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for market opportunities, product launches, and strategic initiatives.

• Monitor key performance metrics and identify trends to support continuous improvement.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Serve as the financial lead in fundraising activities, including preparing materials and engaging with investors.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring transparency and trust.

• Communicate the company’s financial performance and outlook to stakeholders.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

• Mentor and develop team members, enabling professional growth and operational excellence.

You would be an excellent candidate if you:

• Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in finance, with a track record of success in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.

  • Proven expertise in scaling financial operations in venture-backed organizations.

  • Experience in enterprise software preferred.

• Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with experience presenting to boards and investors.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
