Key Responsibilities
- Define Product Strategy: Establish and articulate the product vision and strategy to align with Condor Software’s business objectives.
- Drive Roadmap: Prioritize and oversee product initiatives to ensure they deliver value to customers while meeting business goals, and communicate product direction to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead and Scale the Product Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of product managers and product designers, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- Customer and Market Insights: Engage with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand market needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in clinical trial cost forecasting.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth product development and go-to-market execution.
- Establish Product Metrics: Define success metrics, measure product performance, and leverage data-driven insights to improve decision-making.
- Own Product Positioning: Develop strong positioning and messaging for Condor’s products, ensuring alignment with industry needs and differentiation from competitors.
- Ensure Regulatory and Compliance Alignment: Understand and integrate regulatory requirements and industry best practices into the product development process.
Required Skills & Experience
- Leadership & Management: 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Group Product Manager, Director of Product).
- Hiring, Managing & Scaling Teams: Proven track record of building and leading high-performing product teams. Experience managing a team of minimum 4-6 product managers.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of clinical trial finance and accounting, cost forecasting and pharmaceutical industry workflows.
- B2B SaaS experience: 3+ years working on a large enterprise B2B SaaS product, including familiarity with development, testing, and release processes.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience setting and executing a product vision in a complex, highly regulated industry.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to engage with customers and translate their needs into innovative product solutions in a form that creates clarity for development teams.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Comfort working with engineering teams, understanding software development processes, and leveraging data to inform product decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to align product development with business goals.
- Startup Experience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large enterprise B2B SaaS products specifically related to financial planning, forecasting, or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to clinical trials (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Previous experience working in a series-A-stage or early-stage startup.
- MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy and product leadership.
