The Role

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our Growth segment, overseeing our SMB and Mid-Market Account Executives focused on new business acquisition. This is a high-impact role where you’ll coach, mentor, and drive a team responsible for expanding CodeSignal’s customer base in a fast-growing market.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SMB and Mid-Market Account Executives to exceed new business acquisition targets.
  • Own the growth strategy for the segment, ensuring the team is effectively targeting and closing high-potential customers.
  • Optimize sales processes and pipeline management to improve conversion rates and sales efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, including deal strategy, call coaching, and pipeline reviews, to improve AE performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve team outcomes.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent as the team continues to scale
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with 2+ years in a sales leadership or management role.
  • Proven success leading high-velocity SMB or Mid-Market sales teams focused on new business acquisition.
  • A data-driven, results-oriented mindset with experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline health.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing top-performing sales reps.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving business needs.

The Salary

In accordance with local regulations in jurisdictions where CodeSignal may hire, we are projecting an annual total salary in the range of USD $200,000 - $285,000.This range is based on San Francisco benchmarks and encompasses all seniority levels eligible for this position. Offer packages often contain additional compensation in the form of commission or performance bonuses, equity, and/or benefits. Offers are awarded on an individual basis and are subject to factors such as, without limitation, a candidate’s level of experience, growth trajectory, and local labor market. Employees' compensation is reviewed and adjusted regularly.
