Coalition seeks a Talent Operations Lead Contractor, a proactive problem solver, and a self-motivator to join our Talent Operations team. You will ensure we provide a best-in-class candidate experience while supporting critical recruiting functions, including interview scheduling, offer letter management, and maintenance of the applicant tracking system. You will contribute to the strategyfor our candidate experience and overall hiring process. You will support a highly collaborative team that enjoys problem-solving daily. This role will require an innovative and analytical approach in responding to inquiries and resolving critical operational issues/needs for our People & Talent Organization. This is an 8-month contractor role, preferably based on the United States West Coast for time region support.
About the role
- Support a team of Talent Operations Specialists, oversee the interview scheduling, and offer management process, working closely with recruiters to manage candidate experiences for technical and non-technical roles
- Create Service Level Agreements for Talent support inquiries and curate escalation paths to appropriate groups
- Drive process consistency and foster a culture of trust within teams
- Address and resolve any issue related to the interview scheduling and offer process
- Partner with the FP&A team on headcount budgeting and audit
- Cultivate, Implement, and enforce standard operating procedures for the talent lifecycle to enhance efficiency and accuracy across our distributed People functions
- Document and analyze the hiring process to discover potential gaps, propose efficiencies, and future process changes
- Oversee the requisition approval process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and budgetary constraints
- Support relationships with vendors, including product updates, contract renewals, value analysis, and business meeting reviews
- Serve as the primary contact for vendor issues, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with support
- Safeguard the reliability of Coalition's electronic data records.
- Applying operational dashboards, controls, and reporting to audit, track independently, and drive optimal process adoption and performance
- Manage the employee referral program and encourage teams to tap into internal networks
- Project manage initiatives in the talent space, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
- Work with project sponsors and the functional leaders within and outside of Talent Acquisition to craft and confirm project objectives
- Develop and articulate project plans and timelines through the development of project charters and work plans
- Prioritize an issue log and drive a project roadmap internally and with vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience in a Talent/Recruiting Operations role
- 3+ years of experience working with an Application Tracking System in an admin capacity
- 2+ years of people leadership in talent acquisition, human resources, or related field
- Experience in a lean, highly detailed, fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of recruiting processes from source to hire
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders effectively
- Advanced abilities in Excel, Google Sheets, and ATS reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to lead data-driven discussions to drive alignment
around prioritization and impact - Strong project management experience
Bonus Points
- Previous startup experience
- Experience with TA tools like Gem, Greenhouse, Goodtime, Coderpad, Linkedin Recruiter, and Workday
- Prior experience managing and developing a team.
- Admin experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse
- Experience working with service ticketing systems, preferably JIRA Service Desk
Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $45-$55/hour for the 8-month contract. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
