Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Product Influence: Influence the product roadmap by providing market insights and feedback from customers to the product management team, ensuring that product development aligns with market demands and opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across business goals
  • Messaging & Positioning: Own the development and maintenance of compelling messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Content Development: Lead / support the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, including white papers, case studies, product videos, webinars, and sales enablement tools.
  • Strategic Enablement: Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure our internal teams are enabled and that content reaches the right audiences.

You're probably a match if

  • You have 5+ years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience. Note that because this is a senior role, prior direct experience is required.
  • You may have prior experience in business consulting, product management, or marketing, which is a plus but not a necessity.
  • You have demonstrated success in developing and executing GTM strategies for B2B SaaS products.
  • You possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into benefits for a wide audience.
  • You can build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
  • You can understand and identify trends in the market, our competitors, and our user needs across multiple segments.
  • You can juggle multiple projects at once and have strong prioritization skills.
  • You have a growth mindset and are eager to learn and grow every day. Given that Canva is growing 130% YoY, you are someone who’s aware that you’ll be growing and trying new things every day, and you are comfortable with ambiguity and having to forge your own path.
  • You love creating customer value and solving problems!
