Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time-consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

About the Group/Team

The Teams & Education supergroup is on a mission to power up design to enable learning, creativity, collaboration, and productivity. All core team experiences are contained in T&E, which include how teams manage their content, brand and team, all the while collaboration and learning together! The Teams & Education supergroup wants to make Canva the tool that every team - big and small - wants to use to collaborate and communicate in every day - from the classroom to the workplace.

Within the Teams & Education Supergroup is the Home & Content Management Group. In 2024, we’re on a mission to Inspire everyone to visually communicate, navigate and stay organized. This will help fulfil our mission to give everyone the confidence to make Canva the home for all their content & collaboration.

We work across teams of designers, software engineers, marketers and analysts to ensure we're delivering an exceptional experience to all our users. We are responsible for implementing and collaborating on product strategy, road mapping, and prioritization as our product grows.

It’s our responsibility to see products through their entire lifecycle—from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • Subject Matter Expertise - Become an internal subject matter expert on the navigation needs of all users, from Kindergarten to the workplace..
  • Decision Making - Drive key decisions needed to be made toward our Teams & Education strategy.
  • Prepare and present vision, goal & decision decks and drive alignment with founders.
  • Collaborate with leadership peers across Canva to shape and drive the highest impact roadmap possible
  • Own company goals from inception to delivery and optimisation
  • Product Execution - Coordinate our team(s) to deliver on this roadmap, diving into product management initiatives where required.

What we're looking for

  • You have 4+ years experience in product management building software products, with experience taking a product from just an idea to a user facing launch. Extra points for past experience working in products related to navigation or homepage!
  • You can demonstrate that you’re passionate about building products with delightful and simple UX, strive for excellence and sweat the details. You are passionate not only about UX but also great visual design and communication.
  • You’re data informed, have experience with different types of experimentation and making decisions based on a range of qualitative and quantitative inputs. You love turning data points into actionable insights that drive impact.
  • You're highly collaborative, and are happiest when working closely with other Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Product Marketers, Data Analysts, and sales. You value feedback and brainstorming ideas.
  • You enjoy having ownership and impact on functions critical to the product, and know how to rally people around you towards a shared vision.

You’re great at balancing long-term vision and strategy with regularly delivering impactful outcomes that bring us closer to that vision
  • Technically competent: You can speak the language of engineering, and weigh up pros and cons with different technical approaches to solve complex problems.
