About the Group/Team

Marketing’s mission at Canva is for Canva to become “the most loved brand in the world”. Canva’s International Marketing Group is a diverse and distributed group of marketers who take this mission forward to drive user growth, brand awareness, and affinity in our priority international markets.

As part of the International Marketing Group, our Europe Marketing team for driving market-specific growth goals and comprehensive market strategies across Europe across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.

What you’ll do

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Supporting the Europe Marketing team in managing communication across the group to maintain alignment and focus across all of our activities (often through consolidated updates and async communication to manage timezones)
  • Partnering with global international marketing operations to deploy and embed globally agreed processes for the European marketing team, proactively sharing local feedback to global teams
  • Identify and resolve areas for process improvement, working with the global International Marketing Operations team where necessary
  • Ensuring the group adheres to best practices for communication, documentation & wider context sharing. Ensuring concerns are anticipated and raised early to appropriate owners in order to resolve issues that prevent progress.
  • Proactively driving initiatives forward: keeping planning processes, reporting and team celebrations on track by coordinating and tracking timelines, milestones, and statuses, raising issues as needed.
  • Helping us recognise the hard work of the group, and pull together amazing celebrations when we hit those Crazy Big Goals.
  • Forecasting and predict emerging opportunities: in time, and working with the Group Leadership you will forecast and anticipate emerging opportunities for better collaboration and process improvements across the Group, and preemptively work on solutions, constantly looking for areas to improve.


What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of experience with Program or Project Management, or similar.
  • Experience prioritising, managing and tracking multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong desire to uphold high standards of excellence
  • Truly self-motivated with a desire to constantly learn, develop and grow an inaugural role to build out the specialty.
  • Integrity and trustworthiness with humility/willingness to question one’s own assumptions
  • Able to build relationships and rapport fast and constantly expand internal networks
