Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia but Austria is home to part of our European operations.

Fun fact, a big part of our Austrian operations is developing the AI product within Canva to help reimagine how artificial intelligence can be used in design. Pretty cool ha!

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Provide on-site & remote tech support to Canvanauts in Austria
  • Support and troubleshoot all on-site Canva hardware devices, including MacBooks, mobile devices, network infrastructure, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Manage all UK Canva assets, including maintaining accurate records, procurement, provisioning, and management.
  • Support with the onboarding and offboarding of Canvanauts across the region
  • Contribute to our global support model by responding to service requests through our service channels, with a focus on supporting users across Europe
  • Provide AV support for all Canva events in Austria
  • Contribute to IT Group & Tech Support Team goals to continually improve our service delivery model.

You're probably a match if

  • You have exceptional customer service skills with experience in supporting users on-site.
  • You have experience in supporting MDM-managed Apple / Mac hardware within an enterprise environment
  • You bring experience in supporting or administering applications such as Google Workspace, Okta, Jira, Confluence, Slack and Zoom
  • You have experience in onboarding & offboarding employees, including access provisioning & de-provisioning and hardware delivery & collections
  • You have experience in supporting on-site office infrastructure including networking infrastructure, meeting rooms, event spaces & printers.
  • You have experience managing hardware assets - including vendor engagement and management, maintaining asset records and distributing hardware across Europe
  • You possess strong verbal & written communication skills, including contributing to user & technical documentation.
  • You own the ability to manage multiple, competing tasks & priorities with ease.
  • You have experience working as part of a globally distributed team.

Canva is seeking a highly motivated IT/Tech Support Engineer to join our Austrian hub to support Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives! We're looking for someone who's passionate about excellent customer service and has demonstrated experience in a similar role within an IT / AV / Tech support environment.
