What you’ll be doing

Alloy has built strong momentum in solving fraud, risk, and compliance problems for some of today's most innovative FIs operating worldwide. Our global focus is a core part of our mission to make the financial services industry more dynamic and accessible. We are strengthening our global strategy by introducing focused and dedicated teams in fintech hubs, starting with a team in London to serve the broader EMEA region. As part of this expansion, Alloy is seeking its first UK-based Solutions Architect.

Solutions Architects play a major role in Alloy’s Revenue organization and are paramount to deal success. The Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering the technical win for client accounts. You will handle the technical post-sales relationship, present product fit, propose technical architectures, demonstrate the product, anticipate concerns, and offer creative technical solutions to Alloy clients.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll be

  • Act as the technical lead on multiple client implementations, working closely with the Alloy Implementations Managers (US) and Client Onboarding and Success Manager (UK-Based)
  • Act as the technical lead on post-implementation client projects and use cases, working closely with Client Success Managers (US) and Client Onboarding and Success Manager (UK-Based) to scope an end-to-end solution for their business and development teams to implement in order to maximize their usage of their product/s.
  • Conduct technical and architectural overviews of client needs to propose Alloy product solutions
  • Act as an expert advisor on the data vendors Alloy integrates with
  • Help to integrate Alloy's API into an app in code
  • Independently run and handle end to end testing to meet client needs
  • Be a part of a client production readiness and supporting production launches (these occasionally occur outside of 9a-5p hours)
  • Support the development of technical documentation and FAQs, and optimization suggestions
  • Serve as liaison between Alloy Product & Engineering teams as well as CS teams

Who we're looking for

You are both highly technical and a skilled relationship builder. You are comfortable in front of a variety of audiences, from explaining Alloy’s best practices to a bank’s compliance team, or mapping an API flow on a whiteboard with their product teams. Alloy’s post-sales process is highly consultative and requires our team to be flexible, creative, and empathetic.

  • 4+ years experience implementing and supporting complex technical products with a strong desire to work in a post-sales, client-facing role
  • Hands-on, passionate and creative problem solver with the ability to lead clients to success
  • Excellent communicator and presenter able to gain diverse audience confidence and buy-in
  • Ability to build a deep understanding of a client's needs and guide them to a technical solution
  • Proven success in problem-solving with and for enterprises with a variety of requirements and technical ability levels
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
    • backend (Node.js, Python)
    • web development (Javascript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks - React)
  • Able to travel occasionally (approximately once per quarter) for client on-sites.
  • Previous experience at a Fintech Startup or in the KYC/Compliance space is a huge plus!

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: $111K-130K or $133K-157K
